How do I know which mattress to get and what setting to use?

Depending on the user’s preference, we offer a choice between two models: QDC-300B and QDC-501B. The QDC-300B is recommended for individuals weighing less than 75 kg as the mattress provides a softer surface for resting. In contrast, the QDC-501B is more suitable for users weighing over 75 kg who prefer firmer mattresses and appreciate the additional Emergency Release Function for CPR.

Typically, we recommend selecting the alternating mode for pressure sore prevention. For example, a 55 kg user may find a mattress with a hardness ranging from 50% to 75% to be comfortable. However, the final decision depends on the user’s comfort preferences, as some may prefer a firmer mattress while others prefer a softer one.

How to troubleshoot if your pressure relief mattress is leaking ?

Step One : Check the Plug
First, inspect the plug that connects the air supply to the mattress. Ensure it is securely fastened and not damaged in any way. If it seems loose or broken, it may be the cause of the problem.

Step Two : Listen for Leaks
Turn on the air supply to the mattress and listen carefully for any hissing sounds. If you hear air escaping from a particular area, it’s likely there’s a leak in that part of the mattress.

Step Three : Visual Inspection
Carefully examine the entire mattress for any visible punctures, tears, or damage to the material that could be causing the air to escape.

After following steps 1 to 3, you still encounter the same issue, please don’t hesitate to share videos or photos of the faulty area on the pressure relief mattress that requires repair or is not functioning correctly. Alternatively, you can visit our showroom for a thorough evaluation. Our technicians will assess the issue and provide you with an estimate for the repair costs.

Please be aware that on-site repairs are not possible; the mattress will need to be transported to our service center. You can send the video to +65 8501 1878, and we will guide you further from there.
