Usage
Biatain® Ibu Non-Adhesive is designed for a wide range of exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, second-degree burns, postoperative wounds, skin abrasions, donor sites, and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers. It can also be used safely in combination with compression therapy. Soft and flexible, Biatain® Ibu is an absorbent foam dressing and the first and only dressing that combines moist wound healing with the local release of ibuprofen for effective pain relief.

Wound healing does not have to be painful

Comparative studies have shown a reduction in wound pain in patients wearing Biatain® Ibu compared with dressings without ibuprofen.

Biatain® Ibu is an absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with 0.5 mg/cm² of ibuprofen evenly dispersed throughout the foam matrix. When the dressing comes into contact with wound exudate, it gradually releases ibuprofen, supporting moist wound healing while providing localized pain relief.
