Frequently Asked Questions
CAN I TRY THE CRUTCHES BEFORE PURCHASING?
Yes, you are welcome to visit our showroom at Blk 3007 Ubi Road 1 #02-410 S408701 to view and try out the crutches. Our team will assist you in adjusting them and ensuring a proper fit.
WHAT ARE CRUTCHES USED FOR?
Crutches provide support for individuals recovering from leg injuries or surgeries. They help users remain mobile while reducing weight-bearing pressure on the affected limb.
WHAT TYPES OF CRUTCHES ARE AVAILABLE?
We offer two main types of crutches:
1. Underarm crutches – Suitable for short-term use and commonly used after injuries.
2. Forearm crutches (elbow crutches) – Typically used for longer-term support and offer greater control and mobility.
ARE CRUTCHES HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE?
Yes, most crutches come with adjustable height settings to suit users of different heights. Both the overall height and handgrip positions can usually be adjusted for comfort and safety.
HOW DO I KNOW IF THE CRUTCHES ARE THE RIGHT HEIGHT FOR ME?
When standing upright, the top of the underarm crutches should be about 1–2 inches below your armpits. Your elbows should bend slightly (about 15–30 degrees) when your hands are on the grips. For forearm crutches, the cuff should sit just below the elbow.
ARE THE CRUTCH TIPS SLIP-RESISTANT?
Yes, our crutches come equipped with rubberised tips designed to provide good grip and minimise the risk of slipping. If you notice wear on the tips, they should be replaced promptly for safety.
IS SERVICING AVAILABLE FOR CRUTCHES?
Crutches generally do not require servicing. However, if purchased from us and you experience issues such as loose parts or worn tips, feel free to contact us for assistance or replacement parts.
WHICH TYPE OF CRUTCH SHOULD I CHOOSE?
This depends on your condition and how long you'll need support. Underarm crutches are ideal for temporary use, while forearm crutches may be better for long-term mobility. You may speak with our staff or your healthcare provider for recommendations.
