What does pulse dose oxygen flow mean?
Unlike home oxygen concentrators that provide a continuous flow,
the Nuvo Nano delivers oxygen only when it detects an inhalation.
It senses your breath through the nasal cannula and delivers a measured pulse of
oxygen with each breath.
Is this unit suitable for everyone? Can I use it 24/7?
The Nuvo Nano is designed for users with lower oxygen flow requirements who can
use pulse-dose oxygen therapy.
It is not a life-support device and is not intended for users who require high flow rates, continuous flow oxygen, or who cannot tolerate temporary interruptions in oxygen delivery.

Why should I run the machine even if I’m not using it often?

We recommend operating the Nano regularly (for example, 30–60 minutes) even if you do not use it daily. This helps keep the system dry and reduces the risk of malfunction.

When should I do general servicing?
Apart from rinsing or replacing the
Nuvo Nano Cabinet Filter Screen,
we recommend general servicing at least once a year or after the machine has operated
for around 5000 hours, whichever comes first.
During servicing, our in-house technicians will clean and inspect internal components and advise if any parts need replacement.

Important Safety & Usage Information
- This device provides pulse-dose oxygen only. Its settings do not correspond to continuous-flow LPM or to other brands of concentrators.
- The Nuvo Nano is not a life-support device. Use only as prescribed by a doctor who has set and confirmed the correct settings for your activity levels.
- Users must be able to breathe through a nasal cannula; mouth-breathing or mask-only use may prevent proper triggering.
- As with all portable concentrators, you should have a simple backup plan for power outages or device issues, especially for long outings or travel.
- When travelling by air, airlines may follow FAA portable oxygen concentrator (POC) rules. Always check with your airline in advance and ensure you have enough charged batteries (often at least 150% of travel time).
- Do not smoke or use open flames near the device or cannula, and avoid oil or grease on the device, tubing, or around the face.
