KJW330L Mobile Transfer Aid w/ Patient Lift

The KJW330L Mobile Transfer Aid helps caregivers move patients safely and easily. The chair includes a hydraulic lift for height adjustment and removable arm supports. When the arm supports are removed, a tabletop can be used instead. It also comes with a removable bucket, allowing the chair to be used as a commode.

Please note: This mobile transfer aid is not compatible with hospital beds that have split panels which prevent the chair from fully entering the bed, such as the 3 Crank Electrical Luxury Hospital Bed.

What is KJW330L Mobile Transfer Aid with Patient Lift used for?

It is designed to assist caregivers with transfers between compatible beds, chairs and other seating surfaces. It may also function as a mobile commode when the removable bucket is installed with hydraulic system to lift patient.

Can the user operate the transfer aid independently?

No. The transfer aid should be positioned, opened, closed, raised, lowered and moved by a trained caregiver. The user should not attempt to operate or transfer with it independently.

How is the seat height adjusted?

The seat height is adjusted using the foot-operated hydraulic mechanism. The caregiver should lock the wheels and follow the supplied operating instructions before raising or lowering the user.

Is this transfer aid compatible with every bed?

No. The base must fit underneath the bed, and the split seat must be able to enter and close around the user without being blocked by the bed frame, side panels or other components.

Is the commode bucket removable?

Yes. The commode bucket can be removed for emptying and cleaning. Follow appropriate hygiene procedures and ensure it is correctly repositioned before use.
