What does pulse dose oxygen flow mean?

Pulse dose oxygen delivery means the device releases oxygen only when it detects an inhalation. The Live Active Five does not provide continuous flow. It is designed for use with a nasal cannula and delivers a measured pulse of oxygen with each breath.

Is this unit suitable for everyone? Can I use it 24/7?

This portable oxygen concentrator is suitable for users with lower oxygen flow requirements and who can use pulse-dose therapy.

It is not intended for sleep use and not suitable for users who require continuous flow oxygen, high flow rates, or who cannot tolerate temporary interruptions in oxygen delivery.

Always consult your doctor to confirm whether a pulse-dose device is appropriate for your medical needs.

Why should I run the machine even if I’m not using it often?

Singapore’s high humidity may cause moisture to accumulate inside the machine if it is left unused for long periods.

We recommend running the device for 30 minutes to 1 hour regularly to prevent moisture buildup and reduce the risk of malfunction.
